The Method
The six pillars.
A clear framework for grief, built on six pillars. Each one holds practices you can adapt to the person in front of you, rather than one fixed response to loss.
-
Presence, grounding, breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement.
-
Awareness, pacing, calming, activation, and restoration.
-
Compassionate support through food, hydration, rest, sensory care, connection, and practical resources.
-
Naming, expressing, and making meaning from grief through reflection, writing, story, and creative practice.
-
Nature, movement, sensory awareness, sunlight, awe, and accessible outdoor connection.
-
Remembrance, transition, meaning-making, boundaries, pauses, and sustainable grief care.
Level 2 · In person
Practice the method.
A two-day training for helping professionals who are ready to move from understanding the framework to practicing it.
Through guided practice, reflection, discussion, and case application, you learn to introduce the method’s practices in trauma-informed, choice-based ways that respect each person’s readiness, culture, and access.
